Westwood plans filed with Park and Planning Commission

Thank you for your ongoing interest in Westwood Shopping Center, owned by Regency Centers, and our new vision for neighborhood-focused retail, office, residential and green space. We believe our proposed redevelopment will reinvigorate this beloved destination and position it to serve the Bethesda community for years to come.
In May, we officially filed our site plan (#820180190) and revised preliminary plan (#120170170) with the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. You can view the updated plans (dated May 15, 2018), along with all the related documents here. News of the filing was featured today in Bethesda Magazine. The Commission anticipates a tentative Planning Board hearing on the applications in the fall of 2018.
Earlier this year, on January 31, 2018, Regency Centers held a community open house at Westland Middle School to share the latest plans, listen to community feedback, and answer questions. If you were unable to attend our open house, you can learn more about our plans for Westwood Shopping Center by visiting our website at WestwoodRedevelopment.com, which includes a presentation of our plans, answers to frequently asked questions and more.
